The gearbox for the RS200 Kara has now been updated with new Quaife internals and differential and along with the engine has now been fitted back into the chassis. We have also recieved the new wiring loom from Cyprium Motorsport Systems this week so the final rebuild is now very much underway.Three weeks ago we collected an original AVO Mk1 Mexico from storage where it had been for quite a few years. The recomoissioning work is well underway and we are just waiting for the engine to come back so we can get the car finished before its return to competition next month. Currently in the sub assembly room we are rebuilding a Naylor TF1700 engine for the Naylor Car Club.Last year we did a lot of restoration work on a 1964 Gordon Keeble for one of our regular customers. Unfortunately, the new clutch kit we were supplied has developed a problem with the pressure plate. Due to the design and construction of the car, it is a major job to change the clutch as the engine and gearbox need to be removed But we now have a new clutch lit so this will be going back together next week. Although we have had interest in our R2 Fiesta, no sale has yet been completed so it still remains for sale.
